Thomason and Sons

Keith and Travis Thomason, the owners/managers of M.W. Thomason and Sons, Inc. were introduced to the construction industry by their father, Michael Walter Thomason. They traveled with him to work when they were small, learning each day the nuances involved in building new residential and commercial construction. When they were 14 years old, they “officially” began working with their father and collected their first paychecks.

In the next few years, they would work for a number of local builders, including Scammell Constructors, Blinchikoff Construction, Consolidated Builders, Paragon Custom Homes, and Bill Free Custom Homes.

In 2000, they decided to open their own business in Palm Beach County, naming it in honor of their late father. They began remodeling upscale homes while working with numerous interior designers, including Pat Reed Interior Design and Robb and Stucky. Some of their projects include extensive kitchen and bath remodeling, window and door replacements, and patio or room additions.

They have also worked with a number of individual homeowners in projects ranging from the total construction of a 10,000 square foot waterfront home to simple handyman repairs.

They have been approved by My Safe Florida Homes to replace windows, doors, and prepare homes for Florida’s hurricanes.

In 2007, M.W. Thomason and Sons, Inc. relocated to the Greater Tampa Bay region in the family-oriented community of Fishhawk Ranch.

They are licensed and insured general contractors in the state of Florida
